About this game

This air race game features an Me 109 fighter on the box, which contains a variety of other common games also. There are four playing pieces, each with a colored plastic twin-engine plane mounted atop a wooden chess pawn. The board has a 12 x 18 space grid. The colored spaces in each corner are the starting spaces. The matching color in the middle is the goal. Getting there is far from straightforward.

Roll and Move

Rules

Starting in his own corner, the player must land on each of the other three corner spaces and then his own colored middle space. In turn players roll a single die and move exactly that number of spaces in a straight line. Landing on an arrow means the next move must be in that direction. Landing on a picture space requires jumping to the matching numbered picture. Landing on one's own home field allows jumping to a space adjoining the next field. First to the middle wins.
