About this game
This early-war American game shows a naive view of WWI realities, with German cavalry charging British artillery with the gunners still in red uniforms. Only a few strings of barbed wire, gutted houses and early aircraft are signs of the brutal trench warfare to come. The board, however, shows a strategic view of the Western Front, running from England and France to Germany and Austria-Hungary. There are five lines with movement points, each connecting an Allied city with a Central Powers one.

Rules
One army piece starts on each city. In turn, players use a spinner and advance any one piece by the exact number. Starred spaces are forts: landing on a friendly costs a turn; landing on an enemy one grants an extra spin. Landing right in front of an enemy army pushes it back 3; on top of it, captures it. Armies may not move beyond an enemy piece. An army capturing its opponent can go another line where a friendly army has been captured. Winner is first to eliminate all opposing pieces.
