About this game
This game illustrates the longest and bloodiest battle of WWI. Lasting 300 days, it led to 400,000 French and 350,000 German casualties, of which almost half died.

Rules
The black and white mapboard shows the interlocking zones of fire amongst the many defending forts and batteries around Verdun. The attacking player must start from the southeast corner and try to overwhelm strongpoints one at a time.
