About this game
This game is a trivia quiz on the events and personalities of the then-recent US Civil War. The deck is made up of sets of four cards. Each card has a title and three questions. The answer to each question is the title of another card in the set.

Rules
This is an educational variant of Quartette (as in the popular Authors). Cards are dealt out to the players. In turn, they call on another player for a card that would help them complete and lay down a set. If successful, they call again; otherwise the turn passes. Winner of a round is the first to lay down all cards in hand. However, players must know the answers to the questions to ask for the corresponding cards.
