About this game
This unnamed game board has takes an unusual approach to the roll and move game. Two tracks run in parallel. One tracks the life of a German soldier; the other a French one. Both tracks run from the joyous start of war through its many hardships and challenges to a peaceful end. The captions for each image are in German, but the images are equally sympathetic to both sides. Interestingly, among the fierce combat pictures, soldiers of both sides are seen attending religious services.
