Through the Ranks?

About this game

This unnamed and undated 19th Century German game board is divided into four triangular segments. Each player advances along the career track within that segment. The winner, of course, is the first player to reach the rank of General at the apex of his pyramid. The style and color of the uniforms show that the game was published after Germany's 1842 introduction of the Waffenrock (the first modern military uniform).
