About this game
This mid-war game superimposes a translucent checkerboard pattern over a map of western Europe. It stretches from England to Germany in the north, and from France to Italy and Austria in the south. The playing pieces are paper on wooden disks. Playing pieces include infantry, cavalry and artillery. The two objective spaces are Bordeaux and Berlin. Each side has two fortified spaces that can only be captured by Artillery.

Rules
The playing pieces start in opposing diagonals on the board and move only on the dark squares. Infantry and cavalry can move one space forward or sideways, and can capture an enemy piece by jumping over it to a vacant space. Artillery may move backwards as well, and may jump over two spaces to capture an enemy. Only Artillery can capture an enemy in a fortress space. The first player to occupy the enemy objective wins.
