About this game
This is a lavishly finished French version of Belagerungsspiel featuring illustrations of combat during the Crimean War. An aerial view of the fortress and attacking fleet can be seen behind the images of Russian defenders at top right. Attacking troops include infantry, cannon and mortar. Many of the metallic features in the images are burnished with a shiny golden ink.
