About this game
This game illustrates naval actions during the US Civil War. These include the Trent Affair in 1861, in which a Union ship boarded the Trent, a British steamer, and seized two Confederate diplomats on their way to Europe. The English were so mad they considered allying with the South. The board also illustrates the Confederate commerce raider Nashville, and the sinking of the Alabama in September 1864.

Rules
The game is a competitive maze. In turn, each player tries to move a wooden pin quickly from the entrance to the harbor of Wilmington SC in the middle. Players also may place bets on the various battle scenes. A player's turn ends when hitting a dead end. A player entering one of the battle scenes must pay an amount equal to the stakes present to those who placed them there. The first to Wilmington collects all stakes remaining on the board.
