About this game

This is an abstracted game of colonial warfare with objectives set in Uganda. Most pieces start in Asia (really Arabia) and cross to Africa trying to capture the most valuable parts of Uganda. To aid their crossing of the Red Sea, each player starts with three pieces in Fort Lugard, which was located just outside Kampala.

Rules

Players start with 3 pieces each in Fort Lugard and 9 in Asia. They move alternately, one piece at a time, advancing by one space or jumping as in Halma. Movement in Asia is point to point. Pieces cannot cross to Africa until a friendly piece has moved from Fort Lugard to an African port. The checkered board in Africa includes impassable rivers. When they reach Uganda, they place the piece on the space with the highest value available. Highest total points in Uganda is the winner.
