About this game
This wartime game was based on the Dec. 1941 comedy movie of the same name, in turn based on a story by Hermann Grote. The title translates as either "Crash Pilot" or "Test Pilot". The movie is set in the pre-war years. The hero, Quax, is an ordinary man who wins free flying lessons in a newspaper contest. Despite many misadventures, he somehow becomes a good pilot. The game board features photos from the movie.
