About this game
This kids' game asks players to fast-forward to the year 2179 and set out across the lunar surface in search of fame and fortune. The glossy paper map shows a portion of the lunar surface, marked with a 7 x 7 grid. The playing pieces are plastic spaceships. There are 7 exploration cards (placed randomly face down on designated spaces), and 7 adventure spaces marked with an exclamation point. These have a matching deck of cards. There also is a sheet of currency tokens.
Mechanism
Roll and Move
Rules
Two to four players roll a single die in turn. They may move only orthogonally, starting at Port Nubium in the lower left. Play continues until all unknown spaces have been reached and the corresponding rewards or penalties applied. Winner is the player to accumulate the most currency tokens.
