About this game
This is one of several games published in Germany after its triumph in the 1870-71 Franco-Prussian War. It features vivid illustrations of close-quarters combat among infantry, cavalry and lancers. The back of the game sheet has a version of Belagerungsspiel themed on the same war. An image of Prussian infantry and jagers (green jackets) burning a French town is especially striking.
