About this game

The first two Russians in space, Yuri Gagarin and Gherman Titov, are featured on the cover of this Bulgarian game. The game board goes beyond their exploits and assumes that players will soon be able to travel to the moon and other planets. Some images on the board like spacewalking are fairly realistic; others a bit futuristic. The main game is one one side of the board. The back has a second, simpler one.

Rules

In the main game, players first do a low orbit of earth before moving onto one of the planetary trajectories. Once they reach a planet, they must orbit until they can get to the landing track. Having landed, they take off, return to a high orbit and then and aim for another planet. Once they have landed on all four, they return to high orbit until they reach a landing track that brings them back to the surface. First one home wins. The second game has a simple spiral track.
