About this game
This French version of Belagerunggspiel features the 200th Regiment of Infantry. This was one of a dozen new regiments recruited for the 1895 invasion of Madascar. It was 400 men strong when it was formed in Lyon. By the time the fighting ended in September, it had ceased to exist as a fighting force. Of the 15,000 strong invasion force, 25 died in combat and 5,000 died of disease.
