About this game

Players compete to collect scrap and deliver it to appropriate furnaces to support war production. The game booklet a Scrap Quiz that teaches players recycling tidbits. For instance, they learn that while a single discarded farm tractor could be turned into 580 machine guns, it took 7,700 aluminum pots and pans to make one fighter plane.

Rules

Players first move three small “truckload” pawns to a scrap dealer. This turns into a “carload” of scrap to be delivered to each player’s choice of three destinations: an Open-Hearth Iron Furnace, an Iron Foundry or an Electric Furnace.
