About this game
A rough outline of the Americas, Europe and Africa surround a red-and-white checkerboard Atlantic Ocean. Each player gets 15 ships with red or white bases: 5 battleships, 5 cruisers and 5 submarines. Battleships move only on red squares in any direction, up to four per move. Cruisers move only on white, with a range of three. The submarines can move onto any square, but move only one space. There also are five objective cards and minefield results cards.
Mechanism
Move and Capture
Rules
Players secretly choose one of five objective cards to start, and mark 10 spaces as mined. Players then move a single piece in turn. Battleships and cruisers capture other ships by jumping over them. Submarines capture ships by moving onto their squares. Any piece landing on a minefield must draw a card and suffer the result. A player wins the game by landing the required one or two ships on the chosen objective.
