About this game
This unusual game appears to be a huge, handcrafted, 4-player version of Battleships played on an octagonal board. It has large metal and wood miniature ships, metal planes, mines and islands, wooden and plastic markers. The board surface is painted onto a fibreboard base, with plain dividers.

Rules
Ships may be played diagonally as well as vertically. Before play starts, each player announces the location of his island, minefields and planes. These, like the regular shots that follow, affect the same square on all other players' board segments. In turn, each player may fire a regular shot, a plane or a mine. A mine hit sinks a ship at once; a plane hit and any one other also sink a ship. Using a plane means missing a turn; a mine, 2 turns. A player may move a ship instead of firing.
