About this game

This is a game about international trade in the sense of commercial control. The board is divided into 16 numbered areas, each with three main (red) cities and other minor ones. Each city is a point of movement along a web of tracks. The objective is to control as many major cities as possible, with points multiplied for all 3 in an area (control) and adjacent controlled areas. Players can move by sea or land, but only one on a turn.

Mechanism

Roll and Move

Rules

Players must roll a 1 or 2 to leave Berlin, then roll again for actual movement. On a 1, 3 or 5, a piece may move that many dots (cities) in any direction. If landing on or passing over a red city, a token of the player's color is placed. Players may not move through a city with another player's token, except by offering to exchange that token for one of his own (other's choice). Play continues until all major cities are controlled. Player with the most points wins.
