About this game

Many prisoners of war during the Napoleonic era eased boredom and earned money by carving games and other objects out of discarded soup bones. This set of dominoes is contained in a box with two sliding lids also used to keep score for cribbage. It was made by a French prisoner and sold to an English buyer.
