Contraband Control

Theme: WWII Naval

About this game

This Canadian game presumed that WWII would be like WWI in the Atlantic: more a matter of blockading Germany than feeding Britain. The map covers North and South America, Europe, Africa and some of Asia. The seas are covered in a web of movement tracks, with red mined spaces, black "contraband control" spaces and four red circles in the Atlantic providing bases for Allied cruisers.

Rules

One player tries to move freighters from the Americas, Africa and India into Axis ports. The other moves cruisers that try to capture freighters by landing on them. Freighters also can come to grief on mines and control stations. Winning conditions are not clear from the board.
