About this game
This game shows the full range of naval participants in the European theatre of WWI: Britain, France, Russia, Germany, Austria-Hungary and Turkey. It was published in neutral Spain, which accounts for the inclusion of the Mediterranean naval powers. Each power is represented by a single warship containing dots numbered 2 to 12. The board is a brightly colored and dynamic melee that includes smaller boats, two submarines in the foreground and airships and planes overhead.
Mechanism
Dice Rolling
Rules
Players take turns rolling 2D6 and a cube with a flag on each face. The rolling player places a marker on the number equal to the sum of the two normal dice on the ship whose flag was rolled. A player who rolls his own ship, instead pays that amount into the pot. A player who rolls a number already pays that amount to the target player. Eliminating a ship gives the shooter 50 from the pot; the loser is out and pays 25. Last survivor takes 2/3 of the pot, runner up the rest.
