About this game
This US Civil War game appears to be a variant of chess. It has a standard checkered 8 x 8 board, with 3 images at each end. The playing pieces are flat disks with lithograph images pasted on top of various types of troops including infantry, cavalry, artillery, a bugle boy and a general. The images are mostly of Union troops, with two battle scenes showing Confederates as defenders and one image of Confederate cavalry.

Rules
Rules are not available, but the different troop types on the disks suggest they could be chess analogs (e.g. the General having the same moves as the chess King, with Infantry probably pawns.)
