Carrying the Tools to Britain

Theme: WWII Naval

About this game

Canada's national broadcaster put this out in 1942 to show Canadians just how much they were supporting the British war effort. The map is full of symbols showing what was produced where, and the back of the fold-out board has lots more info about both the growth of the Canadian forces (from 15 fighting ships to 300) and goods sent across the Atlantic, from 300 million bushels of wheat to 13 million pounds of honey.

Rules

Players start on Canada's West Coast, and the first to cross the country and then the Atlantic to London wins. However, there are multiple routes that branch and intersect. Landing on intersections or some red dots requires taking detours or following specific routes.
