About this game

Possibly the first wargame with a hexagonal board, this game for two or four players comes with 20 pawns, 8 domed bunkers, 20 command cards, 4 x 6 sheets for minelaying records, 2 dice numbered 1-3 and 1 die with fields in white, black, blue and red. Each player has a starting area surrounded by barbed wire. Each player represents a different armed service: armor, air force, navy or artillery.

Hex Movement

Rules

Players place pieces and secretly record 3 minefields within their start areas. In turn they roll both dice. Color shows direction: white forward, black backward, blue sideways and red choice. One piece must move the exact number over open spaces unless ending on an enemy, capturing it. Landing on the red centre grants a card for immediate or later use. Player getting five pieces into the enemy's base wins, otherwise decided on points: 5 in enemy base, 2 per capture, 3 per survivor.
