Bomber Raid

About this game

Players take both bombing and defensive roles. Each player controls four bombers and one searchlight. Bombers try to fly from friendly territory across to the enemy side of the board. If they arrive directly over one of the target rows, they score points: from 10 for an oil depot to only 2 for bombing a city. Opposing is a cardboard searchlight beam with numbered perimeter squares to count movement.

Rules

Player rolls one die each turn. Roll can be used to move a single bomber that exact number of spaces up, down, forward or back, or to rotate the searchlight beam by that many spaces along the numbered perimeter. A searchlight ending across a square with an enemy shoots it down, as does a friendly bomber moving to an adjacent facing space at the same height. Play ends after all bombers complete runs or are shot down. Player with most points wins.
