About this game
As WWII dawned, the French expected a showdown with the Germans between their two fortified borders. The game ignores the possibility of a German attack through Belgium: the map, overlaid by a 10 x 25 grid, runs from the Swiss border only as far north as Cologne and Aix-la-Chappelle. Each player gets a playing board to mark shots and a smaller slate to mark his hidden defensive positions.

Rules
Each player secretly places 4 machine guns, 3 anti-aircraft batteries, 4 artillery batteries, 4 aeroplane squadrons, 1 aviation park, 1 ammunition depot, 1 GHQ, and 5 mines. Machine guns, anti-aircraft, artillery, the aviation park and the GHQ are marked as 1-5 space lines, squadrons as a triangle and the ammunition depot as a diamond. The mines are marked as an M in single spaces. Each player gets 30 volleys of 3 shots each. Player with the most hits wins.
