About this game

This brightly colored board represents a variety of terrain features: brown (normal), blue (water), green (forest), grey (dangerous), white (hospital), and black (annihilation), with various effects. Pieces are wooden pawns of varying height, with identity symbol on top and value on the bottom, from soldat (100) through HQ (1000). Some have special powers vs. others. Movement is by a die numbered 1-5, with a devil stamped on the sixth side.

Move and Capture

Rules

The red and yellow players set up in opposite corners of the board. In turn, they roll the die and move a single piece that many spaces in a straight line in any direction. Spaces must be empty. Ending on an enemy piece of lesser value captures it. The "devil" allows a player to choose 1-5, to take over and use many enemy pieces (e.g. planes, tanks, guns) and rescue friendly units. Game ends when one player's army has been eliminated.
